BEGINNERS COURSES - 6 WEEKS COURSE
FOR DOGS FROM 20 WEEKS TO 9 MONTHS A 6 WEEK COURSE AS LONG AS THE DOG HAS NO AGGRESSION TOWARDS PEOPLE OR DOGS.
UP TO 6 DOGS IN A GROUP
HELD AT HONICKNOWLE RECREATION HALL, BUTT PARK ROAD, PL5 3NR
THE SESSIONS ARE ON WEDNESDAY AT 7.15 PM THESE GROUPS FOR 5 - 9 MONTHS ARE FOR DOGS WITHOUT AGGRESSION HELD IN PLYMOUTH FOR 6 WEEK COURSES.
COMBINATION COURSE FOR DOGS OLDER THAN 9 MONTHS OR WITH ISSUES THAT SOME ONE TO ONE TRAINING WOULD HELP AS WELL AS GROUP COURSE
This is a combination of one to one and group training which many owners find beneficial. Dogs coming into this course must show no signs of aggression, if there is a problem with aggression they can see me for a behaviour consultation and join my Aggression Groups instead.
The COMBINATION beginners course starts with an hour and half session and one hour long session and then the 6 week group course.
The improvers group course is six weeks and held in the Plymouth hall, Honicknowle Reading and recreation rooms, Butt Park Road , Honicknowle, Plymouth , NEAR MATALAN AND TESCO AT TRANSIT WAY, the dog can join a course once it has had a couple of the one to one sessions first. I also do the same package in Yelverton too.
The format of the course is as follows:
- ONE TO ONE - WE TEACH ALL THE BASICS NEEDED TO JOIN A GROUP, SIT, LIE DOWN, RECALL AND LEAD WALKING AND INTRODUCING SIT AND DOWN STAY.
• Initially sent notes and a powerpoint presentation to watch
One and half hour session then one hour long session teaching basic training from sit, down, recall and leadwalking to enable you to then join the beginners/improvers course in a group in Plymouth training hall
• You then join the group course which is 6 weekly sessions approx one hour long starting on a Monday evening or on a Saturday evening and held in the hall in Plymouth. I also do these in yelverton too on a Thursday evening
